Young Carers ID Card

YMCA Swansea were early adopters of the National Young Carers ID Card.
The card was designed by young carers themselves to help professionals including doctors, teachers and pharmacists to recognise and support them appropriately and has proved popular with everyone. So much so, that when national funding was removed, YMCA Swansea continued with the scheme.
Today, the card is recognised across the city, within schools and has also been supported by our friends at Swansea City.
Young Carers carry the card with pride. Please help us help them by recognising this card in as many appropriate locations as possible.
