YMCA Swansea receives core funding from BBC Children in Need– which helps us support our targeted work. We were very honoured therefore to be asked to support this years fundraising campaign by highlighting our work with Young Carers.
Raising awareness of the pressures on a Young Carer and being able to adapt our support is at the heart of our Young Carers Service- and without the support of Children In Need, Swansea Council , West Glamorgan Regional Partnership and others we would not be able to be there when needed most.
